  • 1 (14oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 ½ cups (360g/12.7oz) ice-cold water
  • 1 (3.40z) package instant vanilla pudding mix (preferably Jell-o brand)
  • 3 cups (720g/25.5oz) heavy cream
  • 1 (11oz) box Nilla wafers or any vanilla biscuit
  • 4 to 5 ripe bananas, sliced

Steps:

  1. Prepare the Pudding Mixture: In a medium bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, water, and instant vanilla pudding mix until smooth. Refrigerate until firm. (1 hour minimum)
  2. Whip the Heavy Cream: Using a stand mixer, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  3. Incorporate Pudding Mixture: Gradually add the chilled pudding mixture to the whipped cream, mixing until well blended.
  4. Assemble the Layers: In a trifle bowl or individual serving dishes, layer pudding, cookies, and sliced bananas alternately, ending with a final layer of pudding on top.
